Global Warming

You may have noticed that I have a lot of fish on my blog. I love fish! They are so cool. I have the gadget fish, and my picture is of fish in the Great Barrier Reef. Apparently all the coral in the reef is dying, thanks to Global Warming and pollution and stuff like that. I try to be as 'environment friendly' as I can, but it gets hard. I guess if the whole world tried to be better to the environment, the planet wouldn't explode or do whatever it's meant to do when it becomes too much, but lots of people just don't get how important it is. Anyway, I read once in a magazine that green is not just a colour, it is also a state of mind! GO GREEN!

School Holidays

School Holidays are great most of the time, but sometimes you have those days when you can't think of anything to do! I hate those days, nearly everyone does. Anyway, a really good thing that gets rid of your boredom (for a while) is cooking! Here is a recipe for making brownies:

Chocolate Brownies

Serves: 10

Ingredients:
300g butter
¾ cup cocoa
2 ½ cups brown sugar
3 eggs
1 ½ cups flour
1/4 packet NESTLÉ Milk CHOC BITS
1/4 packet NESTLÉ White CHOC BITS

Method:
1.Preheat oven to 180ºC. Line the base of 18cm x 23xcm slice tin with baking paper.
2.Place butter and cocoa in large bowl and heat in microwave until butter is melted, stir. Add brown sugar and mix well.
3.Add eggs and flour, - 1 egg and ½ cup flour at a time – making sure to mix after each addition. Add choc bits and combine.
4.Bake for 30-40 mins or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. 5.Cool in the tin for 10 minutes then turn onto wire rack.
6.Dust with icing sugar when cool.
Nice served warm as a dessert with berries.

Lego Comics!

It is actually really fun to make lego comics! They're great for when you are bored or for when you want to take up more room in your blog :)
